eStatements mandatory on AIB new credit card

It will be recalled that in December 2006 we considered whether or not so called eStatements were desirable for the consumer or not, our conclusion was in the negative.

Since that time many other companies have hopped on the bandwagon in their quest to pass on the cost of printing to the consumer, without reducing the cost of their product.

Companies boast how environmentally friendly they are (as no paper is used for printing, and no diesel is used by the post office delivering).

As with all ulterior motivated schemes by large organisations what was once optional eventually, after a planned soft sell, becomes mandatory, and here it is folks…

On AIB’s new credit card, which is the first vertically oriented card,that suits the chip and pin readers, we noticed the following…
