I’ve always felt that shoes should be “invisible”. They should be the same colo0ur as trousers or black.
n White Christmas (1954) Kaye and Vera-Ellen elegantly glide around a Florida pool to the tune of “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing”. Kaye is clad in a sleek gray suit with matching or “invisible” shoes.
In the real-world, without access to costume designers, it is often impossible to find shoes that match trousers, so the standard black/navy will suffice.
How does this realte to alloy wheels? you may be asking yourself. Well wheels are a car’s “shoes”. The standard colour is silver, but if possible I always switch to black alloys.
