At the moment the Joost experience is like watching the TV on a long haul airplane. There is a selection of non-offensive English language programmes; ranging from the filler titles of Guinness World Records (UK Version) and World’s Strongest Man to the educational titles of A Dog’s Life and A Cat’s Life, and cringeworthy why can’t we just get along female programming that reminds me of Secondary School Religion classes. There are also plenty of junky MTV clone “channels”.
What I’d like to see is, of course, is Lost, but I would settle for the “classics” Barnaby Jones, Murder She Wrote, Matlock, The Scarecrow and Mrs King.

I got an invite to Joost but I’m looking for 1 particular program. Scarecrow and mrs king. there are so many channels to choose from. Has anyone come across this show and know which channel to go to?
I remember that excellent show, it attracted the Murder She Wrote audience of which I am a loyal member. Re-runs aired on RTE1 or RTE2 (Irish TV channels) circa 2002. I especially liked the episode where they went to germany and Scarecrow drove a BMW 635, ah yes such a car. The only place you’d find that show today is on DVD (Region 1) or on a channel like Hallmark Classics or whatever its called. As yet Joost doesn’t have much of a catalogue. To quench your immediate thirst try youtube for some clips.
