It is often said that if you haven’t been in Ireland since 1994 the first thing you’ll notice when you leave the airport is the number of BMWs and Mercedes on our roads.
Well If you haven’t been to Ireland since 2004, the first thing you’ll notice in the airport is the number of persons of Eastern European extraction.
This is a fact, there is nothing inherently good or bad about it. I work with many Polish people, they are in Ireland because the quality of life is better, the streets are surfaced, they can earn more money. As with most things in life the picture is not entirely rosy.
But the result of these new residents is many Irish companies are able to communicate in Polish.
Hosting365 now have a Polish website. I thought it was a copy, as the logo uses a slightly different colour and font, but the nameservers confirmed the link.

Not only do we have a Polish web site - we have a Polish office with 12 staff. That website is for the Polish market in Poland, nothing to do with Polish people in Ireland.
As a matter of interest - what do you think of the site? We tend to try new things in Poland and re-integrate into Ireland … so a lot of stuff on that site (it’s powered by our new in-house developer Ecommerce Suite).
Thanks for noticing!

I’m glad to hear that business is good. Back around 2000 I used a host that suddenly went out of business and I lost lots of my work. Since that time I make sure to note how any host that I use is performing; has their support slowed to a crawl, do they ignore emails, are their annual accounts as filed at the CRO in order.
Not sure I understand your reply !
I just edited it (ah the benefits of being an administrator)
