The reason I'd like to get the card is the 1% money back option. I'm using my credit card quite a lot and I'd get a good money back at the end of the year. Local banks in Singapore just love Visa partnerships because Visa doesn't directly compete with them yet... Amex is learning though... I think the issue with Amex is the channels sales.
