		<description>Michele - I don't think that there ever was a two letter rule for .com or .net domains. It seems to be a relatively recent introduction. It was .org that introduced the rule and as two letter .org domains lapsed, they could not be reregistered.

It might be interesting to see a list of the oldest Irish owned .com domains. I think that TE.NET is still around. (Telecom Eireann's old brand).</description>
