A lot of two letter domains in there showing that they pre-date the two letter rules

Michele - I don’t think that there ever was a two letter rule for .com or .net domains. It seems to be a relatively recent introduction. It was .org that introduced the rule and as two letter .org domains lapsed, they could not be reregistered.

It might be interesting to see a list of the oldest Irish owned .com domains. I think that TE.NET is still around. (Telecom Eireann’s old brand).

Ooh, Symbolics, makers of scary LISP machines, got in first. They were cool things :)

And it took a year for ten registrations. Wonder how many registrations there are per year these days?

It’s but about 10 years too late to make the list!

a cool domain to have would be ThE.NET, but its already
