A capital city such as Dublin has many foreign Embassies. A secondary city such as Cork has many Consulates. A Consulate is headed by a (in descending order) Consul-General, Consul, Vice-Consul, or Honorary-Consul. The latter has its own order and one can be an Honorary-Consul General, Honorary Consul, or Vice Honorary-Consul. Here at Ambrand.com we secretly would like to be an Honorary Consul, does that make us a wannabe? Well, Yes, but we find the Honorary Consular system fascinating.  The listing below was compiled from public sources, then corrected by shoe leather and petrol or perhaps even helicopter hours whenever we happened to be passing near an address on our normal business. It is hoped this page may be of some assistance to citizens of the respective countries requiring consular assistance. The photos will be invaluable in this regard because addresses in Ireland can be very difficult to find, even we had trouble finding some places!
